Basically some quality-of-life additions, no new rule added just more clearly-defined and written stuff. https://forum.superiorservers.co/topic/1901/clone-wars-rp-general-rules-regulations

Debrief

Procedures you need to know when a Debrief is called.

  1. Opening (salute and sit down) - Naval/Commanding Officer/Jedi PTS - Promotions - Closing Remarks and GM PTS.
  2. Rule of DB: Once DB is called, no battalions may do promotions/loiter in DB during the GM's PTS time.
  3. Opening: Enter DB as soon as you arrive, stand at a chair and wait for the call to Salute and Sit Down. The Naval hosting DB will stand at the podium awaiting the majority of clones to enter and get started, any late arrivals don't matter as long as majority are there. NAVAL THEN GIVE A DEBRIEF OF THE MISSION (what went down, GM's will then relay the information to the Naval to explain IN CHARACTER summarizing the event and results of the mission).
  4. Naval/CO/Jedi PTS: Happen all at once, all those who will be speaking for PTS go up at the same time and line up in the usual spot. 1 per battalion (including Naval and Jedi).
  5. Promotions: Any at all means Naval, Jedi, and CO's all go up at the same time and do their promotions that way.
  6. Closing Remarks: Tip of the day (optional), and then the Naval will say something like this: "If you wish to speak to the GM or talk OOC'ly about the event, you may do so here, the rest of you are dismissed." GM PTS then happens.
  7. Game Master PTS: A chance to talk with the GM directly to provide feedback and/or give praise. Also to learn OOC'ly about the event and it's story.

Demotions and the Procedure Behind it

Things that could get you demoted from CDR/Lore Jedi/etc...

  1. Prolonged inactivity without LOA or notice.
  2. Negligence or inability to perform the duties of the position.
  3. Failing to follow the rules/regulations of the server.

The procedure behind it.

  1. A Council member of CWRP may intervene if necessary.
  2. Individuals will be warned of breaking of any of the rules above and given advanced notice before demotion/removal.

The naval explaining the story is really dumb. No one knows what happened better than the GM

You do know that the GM still gets a PTS tho to explain his event right? If anyone GMs have TWO PTSs now. The In character version given by naval, and the OOC version at the end of DB. So if anything, the GM is still getting to explain his event, except this time its just optional so those who actually wanna hear the event details can stay.

Some people didnt care to hear OOC GM PTS, Some people actually really wanted to hear GM OOC PTS. This literally compromises a middle ground between the two. Thinking that the GM wont get a PTS is silly especially when its stated right in the post that they have an OOC PTS at the end of DB that is optional to attend for those who wanna know the OOC details.

Literally positive improvement, Two GM PTSs essentially. GM Still gets his own PTS too.

It's not like Navals gonna make the entire thing up either. The GM simply just has to write something up for the Naval to say, The information that the GM holds of the entire event is still there :) Just being transfered to the words being spoken by a naval instead of himself.

absolutely BS GM's should have a mandatory PTS

It isnt Absolutely BS, Something gets added that you don't like and its "absolutely BS" yea ok. Anyway, The system that was just added literally finds a middle ground for those who wanted the gamemaster to have a PTS and it be out of character, and those who wanted to have an in character PTS like a mission report. The DB stays in character allowing those who wanna stay in character to get the information from the mission report, get the PTSs done and get out while staying in their roleplay environment. WHILE AT THE SAME TIME, It is still pleasing to the needs of those who wanted the Gamemaster to give an ACTUAL PTS and it be OOC by allowing the GM PTS to be at the end of debrief and be optional to those who would rather stay in roleplay and not hear OOC stuff. I see no BS here, Just positive improvements made to the server.

But you are screwing over GM's who put alot of time into their event just so naval can talk about it in brief.

Pretty sure a GM puts on an event to give entertainment to the server, to allow the server to roleplay and continue progressing with the Storyline of our community. Not talk at DB, I'm pretty sure it doesnt "Screw over" a gamemaster because they dont get to talk until the end of DB. You're making it way more of a big deal than it should be.

@Randy-Danger Whilst true, it breaks immersion/character and majority of players should know at least 75% of what happened through the story-telling in the event. Not the end-notes of a DB. Everyone knows that was there about the Mayor and his Drug-Cookies. Despite only 40% of the clones showing up, why? Because they talked to the other clones and told stories about the Mayor and his Drugged Cookies. Not because the GM told the clones what the mayor was up to.

I already got an idea of what to do anyway, get ready for your newest naval recruit Randal Dangerman

I mean good luck getting DB host as a naval recruit. May want to get promoted a few, then you get a higher chance of hosting the DB after your event.

Also I like to think of the mission briefing by naval as a sort of in-character review of the event. Like we were expecting this to occur, but than they attacked us! And all this crap happened! Then we finally won when we did blah blah blah did blah blah blah. Unless the GM gives the naval something to say, like a document or something of the sort. Then they will say that in character. Pretty much like a battle report, or arrest/call report for police.

But you are screwing over GM's who put alot of time into their event just so naval can talk about it in brief. And it is not to PTS, PTS means Permission to speak when the game master talks there will be no PTS it will just be mindless ranting. Face it noone actually wants to listen to what happened in the event but something's they need to just put up with it just like all naval PTS, why do we need to listen to every low rank naval talk about omg i got to type so much in that event so good.

Firstly, If your goal as a GameMaster, or any rank for that matter, is to have a PTS at debrief, you need to reevaluate your goals. Secondly, why should we be forced to listen to GM PTS? I'm here to roleplay and to have fun. Not hear about how the tick rate went low, or how the event characters were bad, blablabla. If I genuinely care about hearing about the event and giving feedback, I'll stay. Thirdly, it is "1 per battalion (including Naval and Jedi)" meaning that you no longer have to "listen to every low rank naval talk about omg i got to type so much in that event so good!" Isn't that just wonderful? Even the one naval couldn't say that because it's fully in character now!

Love the changes.

my only issue is the Jedi pts it just feels like maybe you should have all the masters be able to go for pts or lore Jedi because they would all have different perspectives in the event doing different crazy things but its whatever I'm not a Jedi soooooo
