Sick update! One issue is this feature; I will explain it by back when I ran a minecraft server I had a auction house setup where perma listings were a thing. Instead of playing using it as intended, they ended up abusing it and using it as a way to permanently store Items that they didn't wanna lose during raids (Aka in SUP GMOD it would be due to pick pocketing). Listings should be limited to X amount of time and then automatically returned to users pocket preventing them from listing another/any Item for 1 Day.

(Obviously you probably will have your own solution but that is the exploit in this single feature to look out for!)

Ngl I was thinking about doing that 💀

I don't understand the marketplace, there aren't enough items in the game that are like of commodity for a player driven market to work lol

There entirety of what you could use it for includes: C4, indend, RPGs, miniguns, golden shits, loot boxes, and maybe buffs

Most markets like this are in games like Tarkov where you need to like buy attachments for weapon builds, you need to like build up your hideout and get items for upgrades, SUP has no baseline crafting system, people base for money in this game (and c4 sometimes, but rarely because printers are just better). The game just doesn't have enough things that people need to buy and sell for a player driven market like this to work imo

Cool concept though to be added I guess, but you guys should add more reason to base or like more commodities that are like wanted by players

I dont think the community should have to tell the devs how to fix parts of the game every time the game doesn't work as intended. Telling the devs about the problem thats happening should be enough lol (even though I think that, I still end up suggesting the fixes to the problem anyway, or my take on it at least)

Also I'm sure that a new and improved crafting system has been suggested before. A crafting system that also probably buffed basing and made it actually viable to raid, but if you want me to suggest one I guess I can.

The printer shipments and stuff was a good idea, I just think printers probably need an overhaul or something to make it more worth it to raid people for their printers if you want the server wanted to go that route.

BUT because the market was added, then maybe add a farmable commodity that makes it worth it to base cause players want these items. Maybe super buffs of some sort that are ONLY CRAFTABLE which have different tiers that give you more or less health depending on the rarity. Or some different classes of armor which are craftable that can give you more than 100 armor. Or maybe some guns that are craftable which have different rarities and deal different amounts of damage. I can think of a million different things you can add, and I'm sure you guys can think of so many more, but just something needs to be added to buff basing that makes the market actually work.

also, sometimes i spend all this time on a suggestion just for it to not get added so idk

It's simple. People wanted it in some form so it was added once I thought of a more cohesive/beneficial way to do it.

As is it makes buying and selling the commodities people do want better and adds a new revenue stream for people. In the future it adds potential for substantial amount of content.

I could wait a month to push these updates until they're radically different or I could push out what I have in a presentable state. I think it's pretty obvious what one people prefer.

    • When a sale is made through your machine you get a 5% commission

My brain may be reading this wrong does this mean if I sell 1c4 for 10k that I will earn only $500

Or if someone else uses my machine to buy something I earn $500 from what they bought

Also will black market pcs be added to standard laws

If you put a listing up there’s an inherent 5% fee when someone buys that item.
When someone buys an item, the owner of the market terminal they bought through gets that 5%, or if you buy something from your own terminal the server keeps the 5%.

So yeah if someone buys a c4 for 10k through your terminal you’d get $500

PCs are a BMI which is already part of default laws.

Can’t wait for the toxic comp basing community to buy staff again so they can use logs to slowly find exploits on the new marketplace. Ya know, the same thing that’s repeated itself year after year and is the main reason to return to sup.

so… how much is staff again?
