Valid point of view, but Game Masters only take a blow to their recognition and "fame" for their events, it doesn't affect their ability to be GM's. If the only thing they care about is being able to say something for 20 seconds at the end of their event. Then they are not doing GM stuff for the server, they are doing it for the recognition/fame/glory.

Having GM powers allows you to create your own stories/characters and bring them to life for others to see/interact with. If people love your event you'll know... DB or not.
