Shittttttt Was awesome being on the Jedi Council with you. Sad to see you leave Council, but I hope that you keep on playin. Still fucking love those promotions at debrief where you just lopped off the heads of younglings. A real rolemodel for Anakin. I also remember when you said "The admiral even personally recommended him!" at my Master promotion ceremony when in reality Shuggy had recommended some other Sentinel. Fantastic.

Firstly, If your goal as a GameMaster, or any rank for that matter, is to have a PTS at debrief, you need to reevaluate your goals. Secondly, why should we be forced to listen to GM PTS? I'm here to roleplay and to have fun. Not hear about how the tick rate went low, or how the event characters were bad, blablabla. If I genuinely care about hearing about the event and giving feedback, I'll stay. Thirdly, it is "1 per battalion (including Naval and Jedi)" meaning that you no longer have to "listen to every low rank naval talk about omg i got to type so much in that event so good!" Isn't that just wonderful? Even the one naval couldn't say that because it's fully in character now! Love the changes.

Not saying that. I know that Veridian has done loads for Jedi, and I assumed you have done loads for the naval. What I'm saying is that I think you guys should still get a chance to lead these groups, but others should also be given a chance in the application process.

I'm alright with this, but as others have said, these staff still care greatly about their leadership roles and the battalions they lead. Personally, I believe we should keep the commanders and such who have actually APPLIED for their positions. Those who were granted their positions originally (Shuggy, Veridian, Based) should have to apply or step down.
