While I appreciate the update and don't mind the lmg changes much. The fact that NATO now have a near invincible vehicle that they can now just use as an undestroyable blockade makes this update a 5/10 for me. NATO can just use the MRAPs when the gate is broken to block anybody from getting in. They can just use the MRAP as a mobile ram to kill Tali without any downside. The speed reduction is hardly noticed and I would much rather them have an ungodly amount of health vs being invincible to regular weapons.
As far as the removal for the exp granted for killing NPCs go, what is the point in participating in some of the more fun events, such as the zombie horde etc., when you do not get any rewards for doing so? It seems more like just removing the incentive to do the npc events that seem to be the most common on the server.
The removal of being revived for friendly fire is just plain idiotic in my opinion. For one, accidents and crossfire happen. Forcing the person who got tked to walk back to where they are is just adding insult to injury. Secondly, with NATO never leaving their base, Taliban is forced to use their own volunteers to train the newbies in how to fight and this just makes it a longer process than it already was.
Also, while I appreciate the helicopters. I saw some chatter today that now they are invincible. All most of this update is doing is just giving NATO more and more of an advantage. I'm fine with them having mines and us not. I'm fine with them having vehicles with more health and them having helicopters. But when these "balances" turn into just ways to make fighting NATO unbearably boring then it is just going to kill the server and nobody here wants that.
Sincerely,
Denuk Ironwulf, CPT of 1st Infantry
