Not that I'm hating on CDR or anything, but who the fuck cares about the US navy ranking abbreviations? We don't know the actual Star Wars abbreviations, so why not just use the one that looks better?

@Jedi-Council-Jack-Sparrow Who are you to say what looks better? Easiest to base it off actual military ranks, since it makes sense and people in military can easily pick it up and help others.

Who am I to say? A player of the server. Someone who speaks English. What kinda question is that? CMDR sounds and looks more like Commander. Very few military people play the server, it's not like its some huge deal that it isn't accurate. Its easier to keep it on the one that makes more sense sound wise. It just seems like an unnecessary change that was added.

Okay I feel you mistook what I said. First off in no way did I mean it to offend you so don't take it that way, saying "who are you to say" your one out of many on this server. Point is we're not gonna change something without majority community vote, or Sudo+ saying so. Reason I say about military is because majority of countries military forces all use CDR, so it does make sense most sense, considering majority uses it.

Right, but this isn't the Earth with countries. It's star wars. So shortening the rank so it fits Earth rules seems pointless, and since I personally believe the CMDR sounds and looks better, it seems detrimental.
