aStonedPenguin Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Over the coming few days we will be moving the game servers to a new machine during our regular server restarts/reloads. You will be prompted to connect if you are on the server, you will not auto re-connect. If you cannot see a SUP server in your server history/favorites you may quickly connect by clicking on any of the servers on our home page here. For those who are interested: The old: Spoiler 11900KF @ 5ghz all cores 64GB DDR4 1TB SSD The new: Spoiler 13900K @ 5.7ghz all cores 64GB DDR5 1TB SSD 15 2 4 1

Valen Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Very nice. Hopefully the cost increase is worth the performance change 4
Strax Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Gmod may always suck for performance, but hopefully this upgrade will give that extra tiny push to make it just a little bit bearable. Or maybe we won't notice, who knows. An upgrade is an upgrade, very cool. 1
SladeAZ Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Looking forward to seeing how it effects the server in the near future. Cool stuff! 1
