my gmod executable just up and left and I don't wanna reinstall again so I'll just keep with it.

just change the name, that's what I did, from "gmod_64.exe" to "hl2.exe"

but opt'ing out of the beta should already fix that for you...

Might be wrong but although Chromium is in the betas tab it's not really a beta. For example, the 64bit beta is updated frequently as it very much is in beta and has countless bugs. Whereas I don't think Chromium has been touched for a while so it's considered stable. 

Note. I'm some guy on the internet I might be wrong.

Yep, Chromium and 64 beta constantly crashes Danktown and other DRPs for me. Zombies and SSRP a little longer, but still crashes. Reverting to a non beta GMod had no crashes and less DJ earrape

I've never had a straight up crash because of Chromium.

I just realized I said Chromium too, I had meant to say that Chromium gives me slightly less FPS, not that it causes constant crashes by it self. Thanks for catching that lol
