4/8/2023 - DarkRP Easter Update

Easter Scavenger Hunt:

• Find 75 eggs and return them to the Easter bunny to be rewarded with the 2023 No Rotten Eggs achievement & 2023 Easter Pack
  • You may use eggs from last year
  • There are over 259 unique spawns
  • No more than 25 spawns are active at a time
  • When an egg is found that spawn is no longer used until all other spawns have been used
  • Using an egg instead of turning it in has a chance of:
    • Starting a random event for 15 minutes
    • Giving $5k
    • Giving 50 Credits
    • Giving 100 Karma
• 2023 Easter Pack
  • Cost 4k Credits (If purchased instead of earned)
  • + 20 Pocket Space
  • + 15 Prop Limit
  • +1k Karma
  • +100k RP Cash
  • +12 Hour Printer Boost

 

Player Interaction System:

• You may now press E on players to complete common tasks instead of running commands or using hotkeys
  • You may still use commands such as "/give" or "/trade" without the menu if you'd like
  • You do not need to be looking directly at the person to use any of the buttons in the menu, as long as the menu is open they will work even if doing it via chat command requires you to look directly at the person!
• Press E to or right click to close the menu
• Use your scroll wheel and left click to use a button
• Use your number keys to quickly highlight a button and use them again to quickly select a highlighted button
• Things you may do:
  • 10 Second Warning
  • Hostages:
    • This replaces the hotkeys you previously needed to use for hostage related actions
    • Request Ransom
    • Carry on Back
    • Cut Zipties
      • You no longer need to hold a button to cut zipties however you do need to stay within range after you selected it from the menu
  • Job Specific:
    • Strangles
    • Escort
    • Hiring an Employee
  • Money Category:
    • Give Money
    • Request Trade
  • Actions Category:
    • Place Hit
    • Demote
  • More things will be added to this in the future, feel free to make a suggestion

 

Team Captain Hat:

• Cost $12.5m

 

Misc:

• Fixed HUD not showing key to drop hostage you're carrying
• Fixed extending events doubling the event time
• Fixed some grammar mistakes

This looks pretty sick, is there a way to disable the interaction menu? I.E I’m raiding and don’t want to accidentally open it when rebuffing when people are around.
