I dont know if I should laugh or have thoughts of impending suicide at the sight of these tracer jokes.

now this;;; is epic

Thank you for the hard work. Excited to see how the whole sliding thing is gonna turn out. Keep it up chief.

Weapons actually feel diverse again and it seems like we'll actually have a preference based gun choice rather than: "I don't want to lose the firefight so I'll equip the West-AR".  Good shit.

  1. Concerned about what seems to be a major drop in frame-rate while in large groups of players or around large groups of enemies (even with minimal mode enabled). Hopefully this issue does not persist as it is significantly debilitating.
  2. Toggle aiming was preferable in my opinion.
  3. Zooming & name display with the new scopes is neat but seems to be very visually choppy on my end (even with minimal mode enabled).
  4. Bringing down the fire-rate for the West-AR seems like a good way to make other weapons more competitive.
  5. The 100 round magazine for DC-15A's, while more lore friendly, might lead to frustratingly long trigger discipline exercises during battalion tryouts.
  6. The lack of a difference between the output of inputs Shift+(E+R) & E+R is bothersome. Safetying weapons will be more difficult and CR training for safetying/unsafetying weapons will need to be adjusted.
  7. The new SFX are nice, especially the droid audio.

This update is great, thanks Scott you've done well!

  1. Not entirely sure why this seems to be happening to some people. I was sat with a constant 120fps with 80 or so people testing shit at ESR when the server was updated. I removed a few things from blast effects next restart. Maybe that will help.
  2. Probably wont happen.
  3. Removed the estimated distance. Smooth for me but you said you were getting framerate issues anyway.
  4. Not sure if that was a suggestion or just commenting on how it was changed.
  5. Seems like a non-issue.
  6. Added shift+e+r to quickly safety your gun on next update.
  7. nice

Might just be me but the green scope on the west ar is kinda hard to see through, much better when its clear

Upon further inspection, the visual issue seems to reside with enemies. Being around numerous players that are firing (FFA), my framerate seems to do fine. When I'm nearby a large group of enemies (only been near droids since the update), the framerate drops like crazy.

Edit: It seems I might still be able to manage combat actually. The framerate drop seems to be worst (unplayable) when I'm utilizing a weapon with a scope. Using a 15S, I managed to make it through a PvE. Still seems choppier than prior to the update though.
